Bonnie Sue (Woellner) RADEKE (1941 - 2013) RADEKE Bonnie Sue (Woellner) of Floyds Knobs, IN, passed away on Monday, July 22nd after a decade long fight with breast cancer; never losing the ability to laugh, to share hopes and dreams, or to treasure life's beauty and magic. Born in Cincinnati on February 12, 1941, she dedicated her life to education for over 50 years. Soft spoken, creative, and nurturing, she delighted in teaching preschoolers in Ohio, Paducah, and Indiana (most recently teaching at Trinity Learning Center in New Albany, Indiana). Cherishing her memory is her beloved husband of 50 years, Mike; her 3 devoted Eagle Scout sons: Michael R. Radeke (Tanya) of Frankfort, KY; Daniel W. Radeke of Louisville, KY; and John Radeke of Floyds Knobs, IN; grandsons Michael Thomas Radeke and Austin Talbert; brother Todd Woellner (Debbie) of Cincinnati; sister-in-law Betty Woellner; and many loving nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church (2796 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150) on Saturday, August 10th at 1:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to Dare to Care Food Bank (PO Box 35458, Louisville, KY 40232-5458). "BONNIE WOELLNER" (ONE OF OUR TOP TEN "CLASS LEADERS" (PG. 46 WOODWARD ANNUAL))  WAS A VERY FAMILIAR NAME AT WOODWARD BECAUSE OF ALL THE CONTRIBUTIONS SHE MADE TO OUR CLASS..  I AM SORRY TO LEARN OF HER PASSING; I HAD HOPED THERE WOULD BE ONLY  ONE CLASSMATE PASSING THIS YEAR.  YOU KNOW THAT WONDERFUL SECRET, NOW,BONNIE,  AND I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY WITH ALL DEPARTED WITH WHOM YOU HAVE BEEN REUNITED.  GOD BLESS YOU, BONNIE.
