Annette Waxler was at our 50th, and was just as funny as ever! You remember, she could get you laughing hysterically and have a poker face!. I talked with Saralee Hillman Durkin who said her sister was close friends with Annette and they went out every Friday night to eat (Annette, Saralee's sister and Annette's husband). Annette's husband stopped near the door of the restaurant to let the ladies out to go in and he went to park the car. When he got to their table, he attempted to move Annette's chair closer to the table, but she did not move her feet so he could do that. Apparently she was fading. She died with her head on Saralee's sister's shoulder.
At Moonlite Annette did not carry her oxygen and left it in the car. The above account is from Annette's husband and Saralee. God rest your soul, Annette. I am glad we got to see you one more time and laugh at your great humor.
