I met Mike in the 7th grade, we both got our amateur radio licenses that year.  We have been friends ever since.  Mike ran the first Radio Shack store in Cincinnat at Swifton Center and then took a job in Indianapolis.  He moved to Florida and started his own business and got his CPA certification in Tampa , taught at a local college for a few years and then opened his accounting and tax business.  I have visited Mike in Florida and got to see him when he visited his parents in Cincinnati.  Mike would call me a couple times each month and we kept up on our lives in between visits.  In the last few years he began having health  problems and he called me before leaving his house to go to the hospital for the last time and even said he thought this would be his last hospital visit. I didn't know what to tell him.   I will miss him very much, he was a good friend, you don't find many friendships that last 60 years!  I'll see you on the other  side Mike.
