Tom and I were not close friends, but I remember him as a member of our swim team.  In that context I remember him as one of the group.  I am sorry to learn that another member of our class is no longer with us.

i recognize Tom from his picture in our Annual and am touched by all your loving comments.

What i want to tell everyone (so pass this on to everyone) is about the latest cure for cancer.  "Cancer: The Emperor of all Maladies", broadcast on public broadcasting station KERA starting on March 30.  2015.  Probably not watched by many because it sounded boring and was way too long.   Fast forward, last 2 hour segment, OUR OWN IMMUNOLOGY SYSTEM (T-CELLS?) IS HAVING GREAT SUCCESS!smiley Patient's own t-cells were injected to cancers and killed it, but cancer came back because there were not enough t-cells.  So, patient's t-cells were extracted into a petri dish and grown into more.  This strong army of t-cells did abolish the cancer!  This program was very professional with doctors from NIH ACS, HARVARD, ETC.  The doctor, Dr. Rosenberg, who was an older man who smiled all the while he talked, i believe, discovered this answer.

i'm always shocked when i learn of the tragic background of our Jewish classmates. God bless you, Tom, and all our love to you.

MORE...SORRY TO PUT ALL THIS HERE, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHERE ELSE I CAN BROAD ESPOSURE TO CLASSMATES:  LATER, ON TV IT WAS REPORTED THE SUCCESS WITH CANCER IS BASED ON VIRUSES (MEASLES INJECTION, POLIO FOR BRAIN, N.I.V. FOR LEUKEMIA) WHICH ACTIVATES THE IMMUNE SYSTEM.

Tom was a very nice guy.  I kept running into him form time to time.  It was usually at a real estate thing.

I last was with him during our cardiac rehab.  He had a run in with a guy who made an anti Semitic quip.  Tom stood right up to him.  Rightly so.

He will be missed.

Tom and I would run into each other every so often. I believe he was in the real estate busiiness.  I saw him last fall at Frischs and he told me he was dealing with cancer. Tom was a good guy and will be missed.

I am absolutely shocked. Tom sold real estate and since I do also I would see him pretty frequently but I had not seen him recently nor had i seen any of his listings and thought he was smarter than me and finally retired. I did not know of his cancer. He was a very nice friendly person. Rest in peace Tom.

I'm very saddened of the passing of a really nice guy and classmate. Would run into Tom at the JCC teen club all the time. I'll never forget Tom's horrific accident when he hit the diving board attempting a reverse dive.Rest in peace old friend .   Dave Greene

I am very saddened about Tom's passing.  He was always one of the extra nice persons, like many in our class, who was always friendly to me and was glad to see and talk to each person in our class when we were at Woodward and at the 50th reunion, when I saw him last.    I believe he lived near where I do in the Deer Park / Amberley area and every time I would pass by the street to homes in that area, I would think of him.   Rest in Peace Tom.

I was at the pool when time hit the diving board with his face.  It was a frightening moment.  For some time for safety while healing he had to wear a pair of soft, rubber I think, "goggles"without anything in them.  I had forgotten about this moment.
