Marv and his wife, Mindy, of 37 years, lived in Sharonville. Marv was a counselor and spent 19 years at our own Woodward High School! Mindy said Marv had health problems all his life, making reference to Bypass and other heart procedures over the years. However, 21 years ago he was dianosed with Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia (that was about the same time their one and only child, Heather, was born.) Mindy described problems with doctors, switching doctors, doctor's office staff overdosing Marv with steroids and antinausea medications. Then he lost a lot of weight and finally on 3/29/11 (Sunday) he succumbed to the complications of CLL at Bethesda North ICU. He is at rest at Price Hill's Love Brothers cemetary.
When I asked Mindy what she would like for Marv's classmates to know about him, she said: "That he is very missed, that he was a good person and touched many people's lives." God bless you, Marv.
