Boyd was an avid golfer and managed Hartwell Golf Course until his retirement. Sunday, January 23, 2011, age 70. Visitation at Faith Tabernacle Worship Center, 6350 Springdale Rd., Colerain Twp., 45247, Wednesday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 12 noon. I was a close friend of Boyd,I remembered when he lived on Losantiville rd near Pacella's Shell station. Spent many days & nights in his Mercury & especially at the Madison Bowl. We all remember when he cut his ducktail. Boyd !!! What happened to your Har. He was a wild & fun guy. Wish he had come to the 50th reunion. Sincerely Jack Hebbeler

I'm so sad to hear that Boyd has passed.... It was unbelievable to see him at the 40 th reunion... I'll miss him... I was a smart ass in school and probably everyone wanted to beat me up.... Boyd, would not let that happen... He kept the hoods away from me even though we didn't run in the same crowd... I remember so many great things about Boyd.. Damn, I wish we could go back and have fun again like the old days. I hate this part of life when we lose great people....Brock was one of those GREAT people...God bless you Brock!!!!! George Bryson

Soon after learning of Boyd's death, I called and talked with his widow. She said heart disease ran heavy in his family and he had lost 3 brothers and 1 sister due to heart attack. Mrs. Brock said they were preparing Boyd for surgery and changed their plans, telling her they were taking him to hospice.
George Bryson - your words are a real tribute to Boyd. Know that he is in Heaven and you will see him again. We must all try to remember this, as it helps the pain diminish.
